A couple of years ago I invested in a Freelap timing system and man oh man.
What a game changer.
That thing is a perfect example of ‘once you have it you don’t know how you lived without it’.
If you’ve been kicking the tires, but don’t have a system yet OR you have a system and are thinking about adding more transmitters (the yellow cones we call ‘towers’), regular chips or upgrading to the new bluetooth chips so you don’t need the ‘Relay Coach’ (aka the thing that goes on the tripod) this email IS for you.
Here’s my incentive/offer:
If you order a Freelap system, add to/upgrade your Freelap accessories, and/or buy anything from the Simplifaster store through a link I’ve provided, I’ll give you 10% of your total purchase price in
CTF Store credit.
That credit will never expire so you can use it all up immediately, use some of it or wait until something comes down the road.
Simply put, I know the most popular system is the ‘Freelap Pro BT824′ which costs $2,649.
(I know it’s not cheap. Most have their school or booster club buy it. Many combine resources with coaches from other teams, i.e. sharing it with the football team, etc.)
With that purchase, I’d also give you $265 worth of any CTF programs you want. There’s no other deal, discount or option where you can hundreds of dollars worth of free products when you purchase Freelap / Simplifaster technology.
You can also use that credit to consult with me about any aspect of your program you want.
I’ll get on the phone with you, go over your annual plan/s, break down video…whatever you want.
Click on any of the links on this page to check out your options, but your safest bet is to contact me before you pull the trigger. I’ll give you the right link to
make sure your purchase gets tracked correctly. (You only get store credit here if your order goes through me.)
The easiest way is sending me a message or DM on Twitter or emailing me at: firstname.lastname@example.org with a subject line of ‘Freelap Purchase Question’.
But, beyond that, I’m asking for your help.
Send me any questions you have so I know what may be preventing you from finding a way to purchase a system (other than the price).
I’ve had mine for 3 years. I’ve never promoted it before now because I wanted to make sure I had a lot of experience with it before I recommended it.
I’m a high school track coach and I know about the incredible limitations of most budgets. I would never endorse something I don’t use or didn’t pay for myself.
I asked a bunch of questions to people I knew who had a system before I pulled the trigger. I paid for that bad boy out of my own pocket so I need to make sure it was something I could actually use
…especially considering I spend more than half the year in a hallway.
I don’t have an indoor track or indoor facility.
So I can help you bypass a lot of trial and error. But, if you’re hesitant due to the cost, the best (and only) way to justify the investment is to find out if it makes sense for your particular situation, environment, facility limitations, group size, etc.
Thank you for your time and good luck!
